The staff was very quick to respond to any questions we had prior to our arrival and were very helpful. We very much enjoyed our stay! The room was nice and clean, the view was beautiful and the location was perfect! Never had to drive longer than 10 minutes to get anywhere we wanted to go!! Will definitely go back!!

We had the most amazing time at Destin West.
I highly recommend Heron PH06.The views are
spectacular, the hot tub on the roof was so relaxing
we didn't want to get out but we had to get in that
lazy river some lol.Can't wait to stay here again.

This rental was just great! Location was close to everything the area has to offer! Facilities are very nice and secure. Our check was easy, the facility had everything we needed. The unit was spacious and had a peaceful and relaxed feel to it.

Very spacious, comfortable, accessible, pleasant stay! We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of the condo. Private hot tub was fantastic. Plenty of sleep space for 9 of us plus an infant. Enjoyed sitting on the balcony with plenty of seating. Very spacious kitchen for so many of us. Master bathroom was amazing. Thanks for making our vacation so comfy and convenient

The entire complex was clean, neat and safe. The pools and lazy river as well as restrooms were always clean. We did wish The pool area was open until 11. The elevators never failed us either and worked in a timely manner. Our individual unit was as described and worked for our group. We did feel that the mattresses were in need of being replaced and upgraded. The kitchen size was very nice and the refrigerator having an ice maker in the door was fabulous. For a condo that sleeps 8 the shared bathroom does need hooks and more storage, or even making it bigger. The entire unit could use wall hooks and back of door hooks for hanging things up. We had no where to dry our towels and suits and laundry. Even to hang up belongings. The full size washer/drier was very nice.

We love Destin and Salt Water Vacations! The condo was perfect except for not being able to use the hot tub on the roof but, the staff made up for that inconvenience and we appreciate them so much. The weather was perfect and so was the beach. Loved that the pools were heated at the resort so the kids could enjoy them as much as we did. Can't wait to book for next year!

Condo was clean and spacious for our family group of 8. Grandkids loved the bunk rooms. The only thing missing from a woman's perspective was a mirror in the second bedroom. We all had a great time.

A beautiful property and well stocked beautiful condo! We love Destin West Bayside! We would recommend that the master mattress be changed, as it was very uncomfortable but otherwise, we were so satisfied with our stay.

The location of the apartments is very convenient both to explore the center of Barcelona and to enjoy beautiful park of Ciutadella and other ones along the coast to north. Santa Caterina market is 3 minutes by walk and there are a lot of small fine restaurants and bars on neighbour streets.

This is our 4th year to stay at the destin west and the first year we have stayed on the bay side. It's a little farther walk to the beach but with the amenities in the room on the bay it was worth it. The room had a rooftop deck with a hot tub and bunk room was a lot bigger than the one in the room on the gulf side. The room overall was a lot more spacious too!

Staying at Destin West on Okaloosa Island{Fort Walton Beach, FL.} gives you the "Best of Both Worlds." With a "walk over" across the highway, you have the most beautiful white sand and breathtaking teal green water, to just sit and relax, or building sand castles, or just enjoying a dip in the gulf. On the bay side lies another world of beauty and enjoyment, with the lazy river, a heated pool, two hot tubs, and two other pools, that are surrounded by palm trees. At night they are all lit up with changing colors. Units are large and well decorated, with good sized decks. Units are also very quiet, which all makes for a memorable stay. if any problems should turn up, a quick call to the Dale Peterson office, will clear it up, quickly.

We had 8 ladies and a 2 YR. Old and we all slept comfortably. Very spacious! Master bath is awesome! Kitchen was roomy as well as the hall/entrance way. Nice view from balcony and rooftop. Patio furniture was good but not enough of it especially on the roof. The only negative thing we noticed was the drain in the hall bathroom - it did not drain properly so it took a long time between showers and with 8 people that was a little Inconvient. Also the floors were not as clean as they should have been and we ended up having to mop as soon as we got there. We also suggest that there be more towels in condo - if it sleeps 8 have at least that many towels, washcloths, ETC. There were no kitchen towels, rags or pot holders...And we had to purchase a pitcher for tea. And we had planned to cook out but we did not see a grill...That would have been nice. Overall...everyone in my group loved the condo, the view and the facilities. The lazy river is so nice!

The accommodations were great, the people and the staff at the resort were all wonderful. I had a couple of minor issues that they helped out with immediately. Check in and check out were so simple, it was just a completely relaxing trip. The pool area and the grounds were all kept up wonderfully. This was just a great spot for a perfect vacation. The unit was just a few miles from anything we could want to see. My family will be back again as soon as we can.

The pent house rental was great! We loved the lazy river. The rental was very nice and spacious. We watched the fourth of July fireworks celebration from the pent house roof. We saw Fort Walton fireworks on one side and Destin fireworks on the other. The couldn't had been a better place.

The condo was very spacious and accommodated the whole family. The overhead bridge to the beach was necessary when traveling with two small children. The variety of pools and lazy river were just perfect. Can't wait to go back!!!

The room was very nice and roomy. Pools, hot tubs, and jacquzzi tub gave everyone what they wanted. Easy to book and very little hastle. Great Stay and Great Vacation! We are talking about when we can stay again.

The unit we rented was very nice and I was very impressed with furnishings. The size of the condo unit made for a very enjoyable stay for our group of 7. Peterson staff was very friendly and was able to let us check in a couple hours early which made for a more enjoayable first day. The pools were great and the fitness center was one of the best that we have experienced at a vacation resort. The location is within 15 minutes are closer of all of the best Destin and Fort Walton have to offer.

Destin West Bayside units are absolutely beautiful! The private hot tub during January was especially appreciated and the service was amazing! Definetely will be coming back to Destin in the future!

We actually rented to condos in the same building to accommodate the 13 family members. It was ideal for all ages 4 - 82 and was easily accessible. The lazy river was perfect and the view spectacular - we could see the bay and activities from the balcony and the ocean from the roof when in the hot tub. We enjoyed it so much we are coming back in 2009.

We love the Lazy River. It isn't crowded because only the people staying there can use it and the pools. Even though it isn't directly on the beach it has a great view of the Bay. I love the walk-way over to the beach side. We don't have to cross the street. The room decor was great and I recommend this to all my friends.
