The condo was so clean and beautiful. Some condos can be questionable on how clean they are but it was evident this condo is taken good care of the cleaning staff really do a great job. We will definitely be coming back and staying in this condo.

This will be where we stay every time we visit. Pool was clean, room was clean and had everything needed to feel at home. My only complaint would be the renovating going on. Couldn’t sleep in with how loud it was but even with that going on, the workers were polite and helped us get our luggage around their tools. Obviously, there’s never a good time to do renovations. With that said, we appreciated getting an email in advance letting us know that this was going on during our visit so we weren’t caught off guard with it. Absolutely loved our stay here!

We've stayed in other units in this complex and this one by far was the cleanest and most up to date. It was so nicely decorated and with plenty of room for our group of 6. We very much enjoyed the stay. The only downside was it was so close to the pool it was pretty loud in the evenings and also during the 8am morning pool cleaning when they use a leaf blower to clear sand from the pool deck area. Even given that, we would stay in this unit again!

We (my mother and 3 sisters) had the chance to enjoy Island Princess 404 this past weekend. It was fabulous! The owner and property manager/management team were great to work with, very professional, prompt, and provided us with exactly what we needed. The condo is clean, well stocked, has an amazing view, and the beach service attendants were great as well! We will definitely be staying here again! This was just what we needed for a "Mother's Getaway"!

After staying a few nights in another unit rented from Southern that was very much below par for the amount of money I spent, I went down to the office and met Patti - the rep for Saltwater. She was so helpful in placing us in another unit with them. We loved it! It was exactly what we wanted.After having such a bad experience with Southern and them declining to move us- we were relieved to spend the rest of our vacation in a nice well appointed unit. We stayed at Island Princess 115 for Fall Break 2022. We've stayed at IP several times before, so we knew what to expect. Unit 115 was wonderful. It was very clean, the amenities were top notch, and the short walk to the beach was great.
We had a couple instances where we needed after-hours assistance. The property manager, Ms Amanda, made sure we were well taken care of. She even came by the unit during our stay to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying our stay.
I can't recommend Saltwater Vacations enough. We will definitely be booking with them when we return to Okaloosa Island!

All the landscaping at Island Princess is beautiful. Pool was extremely clean and well kept ! Beach service was outstanding. View from our condo was amazing !! Our condo # 711 , we stayed in had a great panoramic view of the Gulf and shoreline. It was clean and had very nice bedrooms and a big inviting kitchen. The property manager Amanda made us feel very welcome during our stay. We would definitely recommend this condo for a beach vacation. We are looking forward to coming back in the future.

We will be staying here again! The staff, particularly Patty, is just a sweetheart! So kind and courteous. The room is beautiful. Everything is newly finished. We could tell. Everything was in great working order. Other than the bed frame of the first room giving us multiple bruises, because it sticks out from the bed-seems like a bad design to go with, we throughly enjoyed the room. The ac worked well and got the room ice cold like we preferred! Thank you salt water vacays!!

This is a very nice condo with all the things you need to have a great week on the beach! The Island Princess is my FAVORITE place to stay in the Panhandle -- a real gem. Super easy to rent through Salt Water Vacay! I love their app! The only negative was a grumpy, cigar smoking (even on the beach), owner of one of the other condos running around yelling at everyone for doing normal beach things. I don't think he's there all of the time, though!

This was an amazing condo. Three bedrooms and three bathrooms with a perfect layout. The view of the ocean from the balcony and master bedroom was amazing. It is a short walk to the beach with two chairs and an umbrella provided daily. Condo was extremely clean, well equipped and well decorated. Parking was convenient. Wifi was great and consistent. Pool area was spacious and clean. Check-in and checkout was all done via email. Will definitely stay again!

Loved staying at the Island Princess! Condo was very nice and accommodating. My only complaint is that the dishwasher was broke on our first use. This was not to big of a deal because the service guy (Wes) fixed us up the next morning. Al in all loved it and would recommend this place to anyone! :)

Needed some down time from COVID, work and life's stress. Loved Island Princess #711. It was roomy, clean and had a perfect view of the ocean. Island Princess is an easy location to access and is directly on the ocean. I loved being able to access the balcony from the bedroom and the living area. Listening to the ocean the whole time I stayed was fabulous. The pool was heated and perfect for March weather. The pool was small but that was ok...no problem we had the whole ocean. The experience was nice and a great stay --- thank you for the stress relief.

The gated patio going to the front door was also very nice as we have young children and could keep all of our beach stuff out of the condo so we didn’t get sand everywhere. We absolutely loved our stay here. The room was very clean. The air conditioner was nice and cold, our beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. I want to give a thank you to Laken who was so kind and great to work with when I had several questions along the way. We will definitely stay here again and we’ve already recommended this place to our friends and family. The only negative thing I could even say is that the washer and dryer are very small, so, we had to wash more than I would’ve liked. However, it wouldn’t stop me from staying here again.

This was our second time in Island Princess #416. We love it! Since it is a corner unit, you get incredible views. We especially like that they furnish an umbrella and chairs for each unit. Gavin was so helpful in getting us set up the first day! The only little downside was that our blender had a hole in it, so we had to go out and purchase one (which we brought home with us). But overall, the kitchen was well furnished, and we love the decor of the unit. Plenty of tv's too!

We had a perfect week in this condo. It was beautiful and was very home like. The beach was junkie from the hurricane but that's to be expected. The beach staff is AMAZING. With 4 kids it's a huge help to have everything set up when we got down to the beach. They went above and beyond to help everyone and asked us daily if they could improve anything. They were hard workers. The pool is nice, was not too crowded to have a good swim. The only complaint we had was the couch and love seat. It was so worn out that you couldn't sit on it comfortably. We would consider this condo again if they replace the furniture.

The view was fantastic from the 7th floor balcony! The condo definitely needs improvement. The sofa and love seat were so worn out, they were painful to sit in or try to get out of. The thermostat was not working on the airconditioning, so you were either freezing or frying. The extra blankets and pillows looked like they came out of a dumpster, yuk! Thank goodness we brought our own pillows, but I had to purchase a blanket to use for the week. It is a great location, someone just needs to make some simple upgrades! The building common areas were immaculate, beach access nice. I would recommed this property, just not this unit!

Unit #416 was awesome, thanks to the owners for sharing. This unit has great views, really enjoyed our stay. Having 3 bedrooms & 3 bathrooms was a plus. The only draw back was the parking space, and the elevator was very slow. We were told at check in that this unit didn't have a covered parking space, and the rained 2 days, but wasn't a big deal. Hoping to go back and yes would love to stay in the unit again.

Spent 3 nights with Dale Peterson vacations at Island Princess. This is our 3rd time to use them. Always on the job and great service. Unit 503 was very comfortable and the view was amazing. Location was perfect, away from the heavy traffic but still very convenient. Will definitely return and always use Dale Peterson.

Condo 416 is a great condo with breath taking views. Nicely decorated and the location was perfect.The cleaning crew did a great job. The only complaint I have is that the sofa bed was wore out. We had to get a blow up mattress for my boys.

We normally stay in a hotel but never had an ocean view. We will from now on go through Dale E Peterson Vacations, as well I will be telling my family, friends and co-workers about you! I had no problem getting exactly what I was wanting and the price was better than I had expected. We did have a lady that has a few units there. She gave me some cards and asked that if I represent her over Dale, that she would give me a free 8 day vacation stay a one of her units. However great that sounds, I am keeping my loyalty with Dale E Peterson!!! Thank you for the greatest stay at Fort Walton Beach!!

There was a glitch at the beginning of the week, but otherwise a perfect week and excellent rental unit. We started off at a different property, but after the a/c died, DEP moved us immediately to the Island Princes #416. The view was spectacular and the unit spotless and very comfortable. We'll be back!

Just returned from our stay at the Island Princess this was two years in a row. Can't say enough good things about it. Its a beautiful location all ocean front rooms. Its a little quieter there than at Destin which we love but Destin is only a six mile drive down the road and theres anything you want to do there. We stayed in room 602 it was just a beautiful room. Hope we can come back next year that's the plan.

The officer personal were very helpful and friendly on our arrival. The unit was very clean and in very good condition. The only problem we had was the refigerator door handle would pop off, but was easily put back on just needs to be secured. All the applicances worked fine. The furnishings were very tasteful. The condo was well taken care of. The pool and hottub were very clesn and well kept as were the grounds. The location was very easily found and the garage was clean. Of course the beach and the view are the best features. They are just breathtaking.

We have been coming to Island Princess for many years and will continue to come for many years. We like the condo complex. We have stayed in different condos and have no problems with any of them. The service is always great, amenities are excellent. The location works well for us, we know our way around to where everything is that we need. Some years we stay in a 2bedroom condo, but most times we stay in 3bedrooms. Everything you have works well for us. We will be renting thru Dale E. Petersen Vacations-FlipKey again and again.

We read reviews online and weren't sure what to expect. We were totally surprised to see the location. Right on the beach!! For the price, it was a great deal for us. Would definitely go there again. There were a few things I would recommend for the owner - put extra garbage bags, change the mattresses and have beach toys for families.

This is a great condo and a good price. We have stayed with other rental companies and have found that Dale E Peterson has the best rates in comparison (for the same condos). We are planning on coming back in December and hope to stay here again...
One suggestion: Maybe upgrade the balcony furniture to a smaller table and more chairs... possible bar table and chairs.

Loved our stay at the Island Princess. Our condo was nice. The beds were comfortable and we had all the comforts of home. We were steps away from the beautiful sandy beach. We also enjoyed the pool and hot tub. My only complaint is there was no Wifi for all our iphones and ipad. That would have made the visit perfect.

We were very pleased with our accommodations at the Island Princess. The condo we stayed in was beautifully kept, it was clean and decorated very nicely. My family of 5 was very comfortable. We enjoyed the beautiful view of the beach and gulf every morning. We were conveniently located to things around town, like the grocery store and restaurants. The unit was perfect. We were on the 3rd Floor center of building. Not to far to walk down stairs to beach and had a beautiful ocean view. Unit was for 10 people and we had 9. I was afraid it would be cramped in unit with 9 but we had plenty of room. The unit was very clean and had all the cooking utincils you could possibly need.

The condo was in excellent condition. We had everything we needed and loved the beach service. The condo had plenty of room for my family, though the beds could have been more comfortable. The beach and pool was not overly crowded, which was just what we were looking for.
I loved the balcony beachfront view and the side window view in the living room of the beach. I would definitely stay again!

We would difinately rent this condo again.This was our eighth year to spend the holidays in the Destin area. This was our first in a Peterson property. Housekeeping left something to be desired. Everything was covered in dust, the table tops, the plastic flowers, the lamps and the wall decorations. It appeared that no one had been in the condo for two or three months and no one had bothered to checked the housekeeping befored we arrived. When you are charged a cleaning fee to clean the condo after you leave you expect the condo to be clean when you arrive.

Our group consisted of 4 adults and one 4-year old. We look forward every year to staying on the Island, and this time was no different. The condo we stayed in was wonderful - beautiful view, great pool, great beach (with no oil) - and everyone we dealt with was wonderful. We will definitely be back next year. (If I ever really planned ahead, we would try to get the same unit everytime.) Our FWB stay is always the highlight of our summer.

We hads a wonderful stay at this beach front condo. The place was beautifully decorated and the beds were very comfortable. The condo accomodated 4 adults and 4 children very well. There was a TV and DVD player in each room which came in handy for entertaining the children at night. There were also extra blankets and pillows for added comfort.

We found everything we needed. The room was just right. The view was a delight and the pool and hot tub was just right. The only two encounters we had was that the elevator got stuck the first day and we had too carry our bags up the stairs and the garbage disposal was jammed up but we cleaned it out and it started to work.Oh yer one more thing, one of your representatives told me on the phone to go to the lock box to get the key to get in so we tried for about five minutes to no avail so we called again and someone else told to just go to the door with the right combination. Over all it was very nice.

The driving trip to Ft. Walton was with torential rains and tornado warnings all around. We arrived about 6pm, to find the office already closed. I called the after hours "help line" only to be placed on hold for 45 minutes. Then I hung up. On my sisters phone we called Nashville and got my other sister to try to call on her land line and to check the Peterson website. There was no one available on the live chat and no mention of any problems with the phones, etc.
We had to reserve a room at the nearby Hampton Inn and went to dinner. We had been in Ft. Walton about two plus hours by then, and were stressed and dead to say the least. After leaving the restaurant, I decided to call the help line one more time and finally got a real person. She was chirpy and said that the lines had been down and the IT person had been working on them. I told her it would have been nice if someone had at least put something on the website or sent someone to the office.... She gave me the code to the lock on the after hours lock box. The box, at the Island Princess is high and in an extremely windy corridor. The weather/winds were terrible and it took a long time to finally get the lock open.
After getting into the locked box, we were able to get into the condo.
The condo and the rest of the week were lovely. We loved the location, view, and decor of the unit. I would have given 5 stars for the unit and everything about it. The low score is for the trouble getting into the unit. None of that is the owner's fault. I can't speak highly enough of the Island Princess itself, especially unit 711. The view is gorgeous and it is well equipped. I would hgihly recommend unit 711. We loved the covered parking, the pool, the view, the cleanliness, etc.
It took about three days to recover from the trauma of not being able to get into the box and nobody to be able to contact.

We are returning customers of D.P. Vacations and Okaloosa Island/Ft Walton Beach. It is our favorite place to vacation. We love the sugar white sand and the emerald water. The weather was great for our entire stay.
The condo is beautifully decorated and very confortable. We love having the beach service included, as we spend most of our time down on the beach. We also appreciate having internet service too, as I can keep up on work emails in the evenings.
Having kitchen and laundry facilities in our condo is so important to us. We fix breakfast in the morning and come up for a quick lunch before returning to the beach in the afternoon.
We look forward to our next trip back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Island Princess. We had lots of room and the view was breathtaking. We had everything we needed and then some. My family will definitely be back.
If there were any suggestions that might improve the stay, it would be air conditioned elevators (they were stifling!) and that our pet could have accompanied us.

Very accomodating. We only had one bad thing happen. The master bed was not made up when we checked in, but they dicounted the room for that night. It felt like home and was extremely comfortable. We plan on going back every year for spring break. Great place to take your family. No partying allowed.

After countless nights of searching for the perfect vacation condo, I finally settled on the Island Princess #503. Upon arriving, I was not disappointed for even one minute! The view as soon as we opened the door to the condo was spectacular, with the swell of the ocean appearing so close you could reach out and touch it! The condo was very clean and nicely decorated, with many little extra's to make us feel right at home. Each morning as I sat on the balcony and enjoyed my coffee, I was also treated to the best view of all - dolphins playing in the ocean!
My family and I cannot wait for our next trip to the Island Princess!

Most of the units are well decorated and equipped with all the necessary items needed to make our stay a good one. The unit#503 was not as well equipped in the kitchen as most of the units we have stayed in previously, but overall it met our needs. I would definitely recomment the Island Princess and we will be returning in the future.

The unit was wonderful. The check-in was not so wonderful.....Not courteous and didn't seem to care that we had been on the road for a long time and my husband is disabled. We were told at 3:00 that the room was not ready, however, the room WAS ready and had been ready. We had a wonderful time after that, and, once again, the unit was fabulous.

This is our 2nd year at unit 416/Island Princess on Okaloosa Island. We rent it for a month.
It is truly one of the best condos we've rented over our 15+ years of vacationing on the Emerald Coast!
The private "courtyard" is perfect for storing the floats, coolers, etc.
There are three spacious bedrooms and baths.
It is an end unit facing West (allows for perfect views of the sunsets!)
The kitchen is well-equipped, and the overall decor is great. It's a Key West-type theme with lots of parrots!!
Definitely recommend it - especially if you're going there with your family!
