Feb 8th - Mardi Gras Ball

We are excited to invite you to partner with Fresh Start for Children and Families as a sponsor of our 1st Mardi Gras Ball. The Ball will continue our annual signature event series and be will be held on February 8th, 2020 at the Emerald Coast Convention Center. By partnering with us you are helping local children and families overcome homelessness and achieve self‐sufficiency. You are equipping single parents in attaining education, livable wages, and adequate housing. You are changing the trajectory of children’s lives by interrupting the cycles of generational poverty. You are making a difference in our community!

Feb 21th - Mardi Gras Masquerade

Enjoy a family evening at the Destin Commons Mardi Gras celebration on Friday, Feb. 21, from 6:00pm-8:00pm, with entertainment by Mr. Big and the Rhythm Sisters. For more excitement, an authentic Mardi Gras street brass band will also be playing. Kids can create Mardi Gras accessories and masquerade masks. The parade, beginning at 7:00pm, will feature lots of beads & throws and more than 30 floats.

Feb 22nd – Mardi Gras Parade

Beads, beads and more beads! Grab your Krewe to experience Destin's biggest Mardi Gras parade on the Destin Harbor Boardwalk! Dazzling floats, colorful costumes, street performers, live entertainment and more as the parade rolls through the Destin Harbor Boardwalk at 2:00pm.
