Fourth of July on the Emerald Coast

No matter where you stay on Florida’s Emerald Coast, you are conveniently located to many Fourth of July celebrations that the whole family can enjoy. See all of the Independence Day events along the white sand beaches in the list below. 

Smoke on the Coast at Destin Commons
If you want to kick off the Independence Day celebrations early, head to Smoke on the Coast at Destin Commons on July 3rd. At this annual BBQ and fireworks festival, area restaurants partner with local nonprofits to compete for the title of “best BBQ.” Visitors can enjoy $1 samples and vote for their favorite while enjoying live entertainment and other family fun activities. 

Fourth of July Celebration at HarborWalk Village 
Celebrate on the HarborWalk with live music and a firework finale show over the Harbor. If you don’t want to fight the crowds to get to the harbor, you can enjoy the show in the sky from nearby beaches. 

Red White and Baytowne at The Village of Baytowne Wharf
Bring the entire family for a fun day to celebrate the holiday. The Village of Baytowne Wharf will have a host of kids activities, including crafts, face painting, and balloon sculpting. The evening will also feature live music and fireworks at 9:15 p.m.

Fireworks at the Okaloosa Island Pier
If you are staying in Fort Walton Beach, the fireworks launched nearby the Okaloosa Island pier are the most convenient for you. Bring a beach chair or a blanket and stake a spot to watch the celebration in the sky at 9 p.m. These fireworks can even be seen from a few Saltwater Vacations properties including Destin West #505 and Island Princess #406.

Fireworks on Navarre Beach 
Sit back, relax, and enjoy the views on Navarre Beach! Fireworks will launch from Navarre Beach Marine Park and will be visible from the beach and the sound side east and west of the Navarre Beach Causeway Bridge.

Concert at Alys Beach Amphitheatre
Alys Beach is hosting an Independence Day concert from 6-9 p.m. at the Amphitheatre, followed by a firework show. The live entertainment will feature the band “Rhythm Nation.” Food and drinks are available for purchase at the event.
