Memorial Weekend on the Emerald Coast

Spend Memorial Day weekend with loved ones as you recognize and honor those who protect and serve our country (we thank you). The weekend also serves as the official “kick-off” to summer so we put together a list of fun happenings along Florida’s Emerald Coast that the entire family can enjoy!  

Memorial Day Concert Celebration at HarborWalk Village - Celebrate Memorial Day at HarborWalk Village! Kick off summer with live music on the main stage all weekend long and FIREWORKS over the Destin Harbor on Sunday.  

Sinfonia Goes Pops at Alys Beach - Enjoy the orchestral sounds of Sinfonia Gulf Coast under the palm trees in the Alys Beach Amphitheatre. A firework extravaganza will round out the night!  

Memorial Day Weekend Celebration at Baytowne Wharf - Let the fun begin! On May 25th, Forrest Williams Band takes the stage at Baytowne Wharf at 7:00 p.m. Throughout the rest of the weekend enjoy free children activities and Fireworks on Sunday night! A Memorial Day ceremony will take place on Monday, May 27th at 7:00 p.m. 

34th Annual Memorial Day Gate to Gate Run - The tradition continues! The 34th Annual Eglin Memorial Day Gate to Gate Run is a 4.4-mile run/walk held on Memorial Day. As one of Northwest Florida’s oldest Memorial Day traditions, the competitive race is open to runners of all ages and skill levels. There will also be a free kids' run after the start of the main race. Flowers will be provided for each runner to drop at the All-Wars Memorial along the route.
