Gulf Coast Running Events This Fall
Fall is one of the best times of the year on the Emerald Coast for a run. If you’re a runner and looking for a 5K, half marathon, or marathon, there is plenty to offer. Below is a list of all the running events this fall.
Destin 5K Rodeo Run
Date: Sunday, October 7th at 8:00 am
Location: Clement Taylor Park. 131 Calhoun Ave. Destin, FL 32541
Proceeds of this 5K benefit local charities and the Destin Fishing Rodeo Miss Destin Scholarship Fund. Beer, refreshments, and food will be available for all participants.
30a Half Marathon & 5K
Date: October 12th - 14th
This race benefits The Sonder Project, a locally owned nonprofit focused on sustainable solutions for ending extreme poverty worldwide. The race weekend begins on Friday with a 30a BBQ Festival, followed by packet pickup and expo on Saturday, and then race day on Sunday.
LuLu’s Marlin 5K
Date: Saturday, November 3rd
Location: LuLu’s (4607 Legendary Marina Dr. Destin, FL 325414607 Legendary Marina Dr. Destin, FL 32541)
This race benefits Destin Middle Schools’ athletic department. After the race, there will entertainment and food.
30a Thanksgiving Day 10K
Date: Thursday, November 22nd
Location: Downtown Rosemary Beach, FL
This race is ranked one of the top 5 Thanksgiving Day races in America by Southern Living magazine. Their charity partners are the Choctawhatchee Basin Alliance, the Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County, Seaside Rep Theatre, and Sandcastle Kids, Inc.
