A Guys' Trip: Guide to Destin

Every man has a group of guys he's really close to -- the guys, bros, dudes. And you and your group have decided to take a vacation together. You've chosen the dates and the beautiful location of Destin. So what are you going to do when you get here? Fortunately, Destin offers a variety of activities to keep every one of the boys happy. 

Destin started as a small fishing village, and getting out on the water is still one of the best ways to see the city. Get a feel for what it was like to be one of the original settlers of Destin by chartering a boat to go fishing. You're always guaranteed to make a catch! And check with local restaurants, like Brotula's, that will cook your fish for you. 

For some relaxing time on the water, reserve a pontoon boat and head to Crab Island — a sandbar located north of the Destin Bridge. You can pack a lunch or venture out to one of the floating restaurants that are stationed there. Jet skis and paddle boards are also available for rent for added fun at the Island.  

If you prefer being on land, make sure to pack your golf clubs. There are a variety of golf courses to choose from in Destin and the nearby cities. Don't worry if you don't want to travel with your clubs, many of the golf courses have rentals. You can also schedule practice time or lessons to improve your game before getting out on the greens.
