Party on the Harbor or Play by the Bay!

Not sure what to do this weekend for New Year’s? Whether you’ve got little ones to entertain or you feel like being young at heart, there are so many exciting New Year’s Eve options. HarborWalk Village, a stunning collection of brightly colored restaurants and shops that wind along the Destin harbor, will be hosting Destin’s biggest street party. Meander past Destin’s famous fishing fleet dotted with pelicans, enjoy free live concerts by Flow Tribe and Departure: the Journey Tribute band,two fireworks shows at 8:00PM and Midnight, and the 9th Annual Ball Drop over the Harbor. This will be Destin’s most exciting place to be on New Year’s Eve!

The kiddos are sure to love Lulu’s Second Annual New Year’s Eve Party for Kids. All day long on Saturday, December 31st this Bayfront restaurant owned by Lulu, Jimmy Buffet’s sister, will feature a sandcastle building contest, arts and crafts, inflatables, face painting, live music and more on the sandy beach. Plus, kid-friendly “fireworks” and a beach ball drop will get the little ones excited about the coming new year. Young country singer Caroline Kole, who has toured with the likes of Reba McEntire, Blake Shelton and Kelly Clarkson, will be performing. LuLu’s is located in Destin at the foot of the Mid Bay Bridge, next to Legendary Marina.
